Security and Safety: Work Place Violence

Work Place Violence is defined as:

Harassment, intimidation, bullying, threats, assaults, or other violent acts that occur in the workplace which can result in substantial risk of physical or emotional harm.

Work Place Violence can be face to face, by phone, email, text, social media, etc… WPV is not tolerated whatsoever – Zero Tolerance Policy

WPV multi-disciplinary committee – tasked with reviewing incidents, educating staff, finding ways to reduce WPV incidents and mitigating the opportunity for future incidents.

Please contact your direct supervisor and/or Security if an incident occurs and if you have restraining order.
